About The Hidden Door

The Hidden Door Corpus Christi has been serving the GLBT Community for the past 29 years, not only for serving cocktails, but also for assisting local Non-Profit Organizations.

The HD offers a wonderful place to meet up with old friends and meet new friends, attend a Party/Benefit or host your own event. Along with several weekly events, from the afternoon Happy Hours to the "Bring your MEAT -MEET & GREET" Monday to the Sunday Late Afternoon Buffet (sponsored by either The Loving Spoonful, TRE or MCC), there is always something happening at The HD! The HD is a place where YOU can become part of a GREAT FAMILY!

The Imperial Court of the Texas Riviera Empire, The Loving Spoonful, Coastal Bend AIDS Foundation and The Rainbow Room are just a few of the Non-Profit Organizations The HD supports. The HD offers their facilities to host events such as Benefit Shows or Benefit BBQs. The HD is always ready to help when it is needed!

The HD is pretty much centrally located. Minutes from downtown and from restarunt row and hotels located on South Padre Island Drive (HWY 358), & about 15 minutes from North Padre Island, Mustang Island and the National Seashore. The HD is a must stop while visiting "The Sparkling City by the Sea!"

The HD in the begining of 2011 opened up The Loft, located upstairs from the HD. This lounge like atmosphere and Piano is the perfect setting for a nice evening with that special someone or to get to know that special someone. The Loft is open Friday & Saturday from 8pm-1am with Adrian serving it UP all night and with Pianist Matt Kerbs playing from 9pm-1am & Sunday from 6-10pm with Adrian bartending and Pianist Tom Cole.
